Dave Dawson

Chief Executive Officer

Dave comes from DELL where he was previously responsible for inbound supply chain strategy, supply chain services, and a global sourcing organization that managed $45 billion in online commerce. Prior to joining Dell he was the Vice President of Global Sourcing Services for Ariba-FreeMarkets where he led teams in Asia, Europe, and the Americas executing $35 billion of online auctions. A former Lieutenant Commander and technical engineer in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Dawson is an accomplished international executive with more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in a variety of global organizations. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he holds a Masters in Business Administration from William & Mary.

Chris Connell

President and Chief Commercial Officer

Chris comes from Co-eXprise—a fast-growing software company focused on cost management solutions—where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to Co-eXprise, he was the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at SEEC (acquired by Polaris Software) where he led the launch of the company’s award-winning software solutions for the insurance industry. Prior to SEEC, Connell was Vice President of Global Account Management for Ariba-FreeMarkets. A former officer in the United States Marine Corps, Connell is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of executive experience. Mr. Connell holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from The Citadel and a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University.

Shane Whittington

Chief Financial Officer

Shane comes from Dal-Tile Corporation where he led the company's market research and analysis efforts including market definition, competitive profiling, and strategy development. He also managed the financial reporting and analysis for five business teams representing approximately $850 million in revenue. Prior to Dal-Tile, Mr. Whittington spent three years at Doherty Capital, Inc., a Bay Area investment company specializing in start-up medical device opportunities. He reviewed business plans, developed financial forecasts, and negotiated and executed capital requirements for their portfolio companies. In addition, he managed the financial operations for several ventures including the merger with a publicly traded dental laser company. He received his BBA from Southern Methodist University.
